Since its inception in 1964, Rajdhani College has constantly endeavoured towards the multifaceted development of all its stakeholders. The College takes immense pride in the success of its alumni who excel in academics, administrative services, judiciary, armed forces, police, politics, fine arts, theatre, research and development, sports and mass media and other fields. The College aims to instill the spirit of hardwork, dedication, cooperation, tolerance and social welfare among its students. 
Every year, thousands of students enter the College with the expectation of realising all their dreams and exploring their personalities and talent through a plethora of academic and co-curricular activities. The College ensures to provide the students with a number of platforms where they can work towards individual and collective growth in different aspects. The Department societies organize lectures, seminars, workshops, conferences and competitions to encourage students to develop critical thinking and participate actively in academic activities. Various co-curricular and extra-curricular committees like Cultural Committee, Debating Society, Creative Writing Society, Entrepreneurship Cell, NCC, NSS, WDC, Enactus, Yoga and Meditation Committee, Yuva ensure the holistic growth of the students both as learners as well as socially and politically sensitized beings. A student-friendly infrastructure and environment stimulate active participation and sense of belonging in the students.
The faculty of the College is known for its dedication, professionalism and efficiency. They believe in encouraging critical thinking and developing cognitive skills through discussions and student-centric teaching learning methods. It is through the collective efforts of the staff-members and everyone involved in the process of fulfilling the expectations of the students that the College has never failed in catering to the needs of the students with heterogeneous backgrounds and potentials.
